★　First off congratulations NEWS ♥ CDTV had a ranking for “songs you want to sing most at bounenkai (end of the year parties)” and weeeek hit in at NUMBER 4. :D

★　Ryusei no Kizuna episode 05 was good!! I fell asleep sometime after gangsta!Ryo appeared in episode 04 when I was watching it because I was so exhausted ;__; So this week I was determined to stay up for the whole episode, and even though I have a cold it was easy ♥ At the end of episode 04 I was wondering how they'd drag the story out for the second half when it seemed like the main conflict could be resolved in one episode but seeing episode 05 I think I get how this is going to play out more 8D Favorite moment was.... what's his name telling himself he should just marry the pole if he loves it so much! This show's comedy reminds me of my elementary school days lol~.

★　Third off (now I’m really making up English), Sapporo concert/MC reports! There were no changes to the song line up (except for what's indicated with the last show), some people were wondering if they might start the line up change this weekend since the album comes out next week (answer is no XD)
Ryo doesn’t know anything about NEWS, Massu is changing his hair for real?, NEWS has issues dealing with airports, Massu has issues being on planes, Tegoshi had a happy birthday with his soccer friends, Koyamapi love is in the air, NEWS has issues picking colors, Yamapi’s been bored lately, Koyashige are now saying they went to NYC for work but that they can’t say what… etc, I only pulled that teaser from the first two MCs.

I was not there, these are all from Japanese fan reports! Sorry if the order and/or content is incorrect on some~ I'm sure the stuff they talked about in the MCs isn't in order here XD



Sapporo 11.15.2008 first show

●　During the opening when NEWS asks the audience to yell, Ryo said Sapporo was the loudest yet.

●　Massu and Yamapi added “Sapporo” into the lyrics of Happy Birthday.

●　Ryo announced Uchi’s solo con and said he’s do his best not to loose to Uchi. (during the beginning of the concert during the introduction segements)

●　Massu tripped on the stairs during weeeek.

MC

●　Koyama started with talking about how the hall, and so rehearsal, was cold. The talk then turns to Tegoshi's birthday (there was no 'surprise' or celebration like there was for Ryo at Fukui)

●　Tegoshi got to celebrate his birthday with his soccer friends ♥ and they gave him a soccer ball covered in messages they had written. Tegoshi said he was *near tears while reading it *cried for 2 hours while reading it (depending on the reports, this is reported differently so I'm not sure D:). Massu comments that he wasn't crying when he celebrated with NEWS the day before (lol Massu).

●　Shige and Koyama sent Tegoshi celebratory emails/texts on his birthday, which isn’t anything unusual… but Tegoshi replied to them very late and not on that- at the same time! He sent the same message at the same time to both of them—they know because they were together when the reply came so Tegoshi’s plan (? Lol) was revealed.

●　Koyama makes some comment about not having seen some of the members in two weeks and Shige’s like “I was with you in New York!!” (Shige…. I don’t think he was talking about you lol). Ryo is suddenly like “Woa, you went to New York!?!?” and the other members are just like “…………………” so Ryo’s like “You all knew!?!?!”

●　Shige was in the same car as Tegoshi going to the airport to come to Sapporo. Tegoshi was talking with one of his soccer friends on the phone at one point and Shige reports to everyone that yes he was talking down to them (ue kara mesen Tegoshi always has XDD)

●　The talk changes to how Massu is going to be in a drama and Ryo was totally surprised- apparently he hadn't heard about New York OR this. He asked Massu a lot of questions about it. They talk about what time it's going to be on TV and Koyama's like "Same as Rookies!" and Ryo comments it's the same as Bloody Monday too. Massu says he’s going to cut his hair shorter than Shige’s (Shige was trying to demonstrate or something at this point) and dye it all black for the role (!!!).

●　There was some talk about TU->YU and Massu sang the song acapella a tiny bit. Shige made some comment like "I'm not in TU->YU... D:"

●　They talk about going to the gym.... Koyama's been going 2 or 3 times a week while Shige has stopped going. (so that's why he's getting fat!) Koyama talks about how once he saw Shige using gym equipment wrong- he sat on it the opposite way you’re supposed to.

●　Koyama asks Yamapi what he's been up to and he's like "Nothinggg!!!" which is why he has nothing to updated his jweb with or anything. He's supposed to update by 8PM everyday but around 7:30 he'll get a friendly reminder from the jimusho and he's like "I'm thinking of something, gimmie a minute geez!".

●　They start talking about emojis, and wonder why the zodiac emojis are needed. Tegoshi and Koyama like the docomo running emoji (it looks like Ai no Matador), Yamapi likes the zodiac one for the year of the sheep. Yamapi doesn't like the hand emoji when it's used to end sentences because it pisses him off… Koyama and Shige use it a lot XD Massu comments Shige and Tegoshi use the light bulb emoji a lot and Shige says Tegoshi stole it from him. They say Tegoshi uses the lightbulb, soccer ball and up (up arrow) emoji a lot at the end of sentences. Ryo doesn't use emoji's a lot but will send a mail like "Thank you. " with a space after the period and this his name. Shige says "Isn't that cute" (XDD?).

●　Talk turns to how Koyama and Shige went to New York for work though they can't say what yet for 5 days. Originally Koyama was going to go somewhere with Yamapi but ended up going with Shige to New York for work (haa??). Yamapi has been doing nothing and extremely bored and sent Koyama a mail when he was in NYC that said "Hurry up and come back!"... but he didn't send one to Shige. He claims he thought he did but Shige's like "I didn't get one XDD" (OK, in Koyama’s first jweb mentioning NYC he said they had work but during his second it sounded like a total for fun trip, during the light ceremony they acted like it was a totally private trip too and now they’re saying they went FOR work… @___@?)

●　Yamapi comments Ginza Rhapsody is really a song you can't forget after hearing it once.

●　After Koyama and Yamapi leave the remaining four advertise their stuff, Tegoshi is going to be on a lot of shows for UsoUso (Shabake 2) promo. Massu promotes the rescue show. Ryo promotes Ryusei no Kizuna and says he hasn't seen episode 05 himself yet!

●　Ryo then leaves (LOL) so Tegoshi introduces Ginza Rhapsody after seeing a bug and being like "Ah bug!" and the MC ends.



Sapporo 11.15.2008 second show

●　Massu changed to lyrics of Happy Birthday to say "The 11th is Tegoshi's special day!" (kinenbi- that line).

●　Massu introduced himself as Ramen Tsukemen Boku wa Ikemen!.

●　There was some problem with Ryo's mic during SNOW EXPRESS.

●　The second show went to a double encore, with Hadashi no Cinderella Boy. Before it starts Koyama was like "Do you all have towels?" making everyone scream because you're supposed to wave your towel during Hadashi.

MC

●　Yamapi has not only been bored lately but not receiving any emails. In between concerts he was sitting there sad about it and checking his phone a lot and then all the sudden... a mail came! He excitedly opened it only to realize it was from Koyama, who was sitting across from him. Koyama had felt bad for Yamapi so emailed him (LOL)

●　On the way to Sapporo in the airport, Yamapi-Koyama-Massu were late. They were so late that the airport announced Yamapi and Koyama's full names on the loudspeaker to tell them to come, but for some reason they didn't call Massu.

●　The reason Koyama and Yamapi were late boarding was Massu (haha). And the reason Massu was late is they were checking his stuff like 10 times through the metal detector. He had a pin set on him that he had forgotten about, and Koyamapi waited for him the whole time XD Massu was apparently kind of in a bad mood after that.

●　Yamapi hates being stopped by the metal detectors so always takes everything off that might set it off before hand. Oppositely, Tegoshi thinks that's a pain so takes stuff off only as there's a problem.

●　Shige says that Massu is scary on airplanes (lol). He'll have two big bags and one fits under the chair fine but the other doesn't really. The cabin attendants ask like "Do you want to put that in the overhead luggage container?" and he's like "No thanks".... then they ask again later (when they come back by) and he's like "No" and the attendant is like "Do you hate putting things up there?" and he's like "I hate it" (LOL). Massu was in a bad mood from the metal detector.

●　On the dinner menu there was goya chanpuru even though they're in Hokkaido! (that food is famous for Okinawa) Which made them want to try it.

●　Tegoshi and Shige went out to eat recently. This leads to talk about "What foods do you hate?" and Shige hates sweet potato (Awesome, I'm not the only one in the world!).

●　After Koyama and Yamapi left to get ready for their duet, the remaining four start talking about "color". Shige asks Tegoshi what "color" means (to get him talking). This leads to talk of their own colors. Shige's outfits are green so green. Tegoshi's outfits are pink and he likes it so pink? Ryo's assumes black then and they're like "So Massu's yellow??", Ryo comments that he's yellow in Kanjani8 and here (in NEWS) the tape on his mic is yellow so he must be yellow? But the other three are like "The tape has nothing to do with that XDD".

●　Shige tells Massu to wrap up the MC but he has no idea what to do... mentions maybe he's orange because of the Rescue drama... but at that moment Yamapi comes back out (LOL). Yamapi's like "I'm black! Because I'm Kurosagi. ...wait, blue is good too. Because of Code Blue. Er, I'm going to come back out of here in a bit." and leaves (HAHA, thats it).

●　Massu tries to wrap up the MC a bit and then Ginza Rhapsody starts.




Sapporo 11.16.2008 first show

●　Koyama changed the lyrics in SUMMER TIME "Zutto futari de iyou" to "Zutto minna de iyou"

MC

●　Koyama asks someone in the audience "What time do you think we woke up for today's concert?" and they say 4 AM and Koyama's like "That's Massu..."

●　They talk about the goods for awhile. Tegoshi was really picky over the color of the hat pin. Koyama brings up "What kind of goods would make you happy?" (asking fans) and Ryo wonders about sheets (I believe Kanjani8 have bedsheets for sale, don't quote me on that though I don't know for sure XD) which results in them saying maybe they'll consider it for the next tour.

●　They all went out for hokke the night before (the night after the first day of concerts). Massu says the hokke was really delicious, but there was so much time inbetween the hokke and the next dish brought out that he didn't eat a lot of the other dish. Shige says Massu ate a lot though XD

●　After dinner they all bathed together, commenting the had a video camera out again.

●　After that everyone went to their rooms and did their own thing. Koyama watched Prison Break on DVD, Shige watched HEROS on DVD while writing an article for WINK UP, Tegoshi watched a DVD while playing his DS, Massu watched Suma Station, Ryo ordered a massage and Yamapi watched an English Conversation show on NHK.

●　Ryo ordered a massage hoping for a cute young massajist but got a scary old lady who gave a massage that hurt. Plus he could hear her stomach growling. Massu also got a massage, and from the same lady, but her stomach wasn't growling. The lady was apparently like a bulldog (HAHA).

●　Massu says the hotel was hot. He turned down the ac/heater as low as it could go but hot air was still coming out. It was so hot that he sweat a lot during his massage. Tegoshi called the front desk to tell them he couldn't get the AC to turn on and they told him there's no AC on during the winter at that hotel, so he slept with the window open. Everyone besides Tegoshi ended up sleeping on the floor next to their beds because it was so hot.

●　Massu, Yamapi, Koyama and Tegoshi say they tend to feel hot. Shige tends to feel cold. Ryo doesn't care about this topic (lol).

●　After Yamapi and Koyama leave Shige throws introducing their new album color to Tegoshi. Tegoshi then comments "It has murarisuto on it!" to throw the conversation back to Shige.

●　Tegoshi advertises about Usouso and then it's Ginza Raphsody time.

Sapporo 11.16.2008 second show

●　Ryo preformed code instead of ordinary.

●　Tegomasu performed ~KISS~ Kaerimichi no love song instead of Ai ai Gasa.

●　During WHY.... Massu failed at billiards XD He didn't make the break and Shige was singing while laughing. Then when the lights turned to Ryo and Tegoshi, Tegoshi is always sitting on the sofa and Ryo standing a few feet away on the other side of the jukebox(?) thing, but this time he was sitting on the sofa with Tegoshi staring at him.

●　Shige's mic broke/he dropped it during his solo.

●　At the beginning of Party Time Ryo was singing the countdown part (normally like uno, due, tre, quatro or smth) but he just said "Ichi ni san shi" lol. During the first show on the 16th and the second on the 15th (I haven't heard about the first show of the 15th but assume it's the same...) Ryo sung this part normally (uno, due, tre..) but changed it this time for some reason.

●　There was a double encore with Hadashi no Cinderella Boy.

MC

●　Koyama is quick to be like "SHIGE DROPPED HIS MIC" which they inform the audience cost a ton. They never say if it actually broke or not (don't know I think) but it fell when he jumps down during his solo. Shige apologizes a lot.

●　Shige criticizes Massu (trying to change the topic? lol) for messing up the break at the beginning of WHY and claims Massu messed up in the first show that day too.

●　Shige asks then if everyone else has gotten through this performance smoothly and then there's some discussion of Koyama and Massu's dancing during BAMBINA being a bit weird/off.

●　Massu says Shige's greeting is weird, because he combines PARTY with SURU and they discuss whether you can make PARTY a verb like that.

●　They start discussing how Shige's introduction is weird in general, but he always goes first so has to introduce all of NEWS so it's weird if he's like "Hey this is NEWS!" and everyone cheers and then he says his name... they get him to try it and the audience doesn't react when he says "Hey this is Kato Shigeaki!!" after introducing NEWS. Koyama gets Tegoshi to try the same thing "Hey this is NEWS!" (audience: yay!) "Hey this is Tegoshi!" (audience: yay!)... lol Shige.

●　Yamapi and Koyama are about to leave and the audience is like "Ehh" so they stay a bit longer trying to get Tegoshi to talk. They say he talks the most backstage so should talk more here. This leads to Massu talking about how Tegoshi is totally naked a lot backstage and Koyama's like "Don't talk about that!" and apologizes to the parent-child seating area. ...but the rest of the group keeps going with it and talking about Tegoshi-kun's Tegoshi-kun.

●　Koyamapi leave and the remaining four promote their stuff. Ryo leaves, then Shige and then it's just Tegomasu left. They play rock-paper-siscors to decide who stays to finish the MC and Tegoshi ends up staying.
